Looking after your jewellery

Hand Stamped Jewellery

Care must be taken when wearing your jewellery.  Fine silver is softer than sterling silver and if continually rubbed or knocked against hard surfaces your charm may loose detail and may scratch over time.

To keep your jewellery in good condition, we recommend that you gently clean you piece with the silver polishing cloth enclosed in the items box when you receive it, or an impregnated silver polishing cloth available from most jewellers, remembering not to rub hard over the print as it may fade over time.  Please do not use chemicals or polish.  We would also advise you not to get your jewellery wet and that you avoid contact with soap, perfume, body lotions and household chemicals.

Engraved Jewellery

All of the items in our engraved range are designed to be kept as a keepsake or are for wear on an occasional basis.  Because each piece is surface engraved it does mean that if worn regularly there is a likelihood it may get rubbed or knocked which could cause the print to fade and become scratched resulting in loss of detail on the print.

To keep your jewellery in good condition we recommend that you gently clean your piece with the silver polishing cloth enclosed (remembering not to rub hard at all over the print).  Please do not use chemicals or polish.  We would also advise you not to get your jewellery wet and that you avoid contact with soap, perfume, body lotions and household chemicals.
